PAUL GROSS

One of my favourite TV-shows is Due South. It is such a great show and it always makes me laugh. Well the reason I started watching the show is Paul. He's just such a babe!!

Born: 30th April 1959

Astrological sign: Taurus

Birthplace: Calgary

Siblings: A younger brother

Places he's lived in: His father was a Tank Commander in the Canadian Army so they moved around when he was young. He lived in England, Germany and Washington DC.

Family: Wife Martha Burns and two children, Hanna (7) and Jack (4).

Lives: Toronto

Awards he has been nominated and won: Nominated for a Dora Award for Romeo & Juliet in 1985, and he won a Dora Award for his part in Observe The Sons Of Ulster Marching Towards The Somme, in 1988. He has won a Gemini Award two years running for his role as RCMP Constable Benton Fraser in Due South.

Why he chose acting as a profession: He gave up maths in school and that tend to limit your choices so he decided to be an actor.

He also: Plays guitar, skis, swims, skates and sings.

Due South episodes he's written: All The Queen's Horses, Red, White Or Blue, Burning Down The House, Mounty On The Bounty and Call Of The Wild.

He has also written a couple of screenplays, wich he would like to star in and direct in the near future.

He also released a CD last year, Two Houses, with his songwriting partner David Keeley.
